This was developed in cooperation with the New York State Federation of Home Bureaus, State Department of Agriculture and Markets, and the New York State Colleges of Agriculture and Home Economics. The model roadside stand was built by the State Department of Agriculture and Markets as part of its educational program from plans worked out by representatives from the department and representatives of the State Colleges. The sales were conducted by the New York State Federation of Home Bureaus.
